Missionary Trip to Europe by Pastor Sergey Neagov and Eugene Bardosh

Dear brothers and sisters, we sincerely thank you for your prayers for our short missionary trip to Europe.

Warsaw, Poland
September 26-28

We participated in a missionary retreat in Warsaw, which was a great blessings for us and the missionaries. Such gatherings are absolutely essential and important for missionaries. Shared prayers, spiritual songs, and exchanging experiences uniquely inspire, strengthen, and equip missionaries for the work to which the Lord has called them. We served missionaries with seminars on “Pastoral Care for Missionaries” and “Small Groups in the Local Church.” There was good, engaging interaction. The Q&A time, in which we participated, was also edifying for the attending missionaries. Please continue to pray for our missionaries, Joseph Sheremet and Sergey Potapov, and their co-workers, who are all doing great work for the Kingdom of God.

After the retreat, pastor Sergey Neagov traveled to Torrevieja, Spain, while pastor Eugene visited missionaries in Poland, Turkey, Greece, and France.

Torrevieja, Spain
September 29 – October 9

This time was also a huge blessings, both for me and for the brothers and sisters of the “Light of Life” church in Torrevieja. Missionary and pastor Viktor Kovba, along with his wife Tatyana, are doing wonderful work in the church and the city. They have truly generous and open hearts. We had pre-planned meetings in the form of retreats for married couples and youth. The local church responded and invited people. Families from the church and others who were invited attended the meetings. At the first meeting, an awesome atmosphere was established, setting the tone for the rest of the gatherings. We had discussions on three main topics:
  1. “A Man Who Fears the Lord”
  2. “A Woman Who Fears the Lord”
  3. “Seeking Wisdom”

I am very happy and grateful to the Lord for this time. The “Light of Life” Church was refreshed. Our brother and friend EriK Raina was encouraged and sends his heartfelt greetings. Thank you, brothers and sisters, for your prayerful support and for sharing in this labor for the Lord’s harvest.
Visiting Missionaries in Poland, Turkey, Greece and France

After the retreat in Warsaw, I traveled with our missionary Sergey Potapov to Torun, where we spent time with his family. The next day, on Sunday, we visited a new missionary point in the city of Bygoszcz, where I shared a message, and afterward, we returned to Torun for another service. That evening, I returned to Warsaw and spent time with our dear missionary Joseph Sheremet. The following day, I traveled to Istanbul, Turkey, where I met with missionaries working with various Muslim peoples and ethnic groups. Afterward, I went to Athens and spent a rew days with our missionary Vitaly Fomin, who is praying and hoping that next summer we will bring a team to organize a children’s camp. The final stop of the trip was Strasbourg, France, where missionary pastor Sergey Babich is serving. On Sunday, they celebrated the harvest festival, and I had the opportunity to share a message and meet with their children’s ministry team, who are also eagerly awaiting our team next summer for the children’s camp.
Brothers and sisters, please continue praying for our missionaries who are working under hard conditions, spreading the Gospel to lost souls. Together, we are all part of the great work of evangelism to which our Lord Jesus Christ has called us.

Scripture To Memorize

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

Ephesians 6:10-12
