New Addition to the GFC Elder Board

Greetings, friends! We are grateful for everyone who attended a very important GFC meeting last Sunday. Thank you for all your suggestions and questions. We want to hear each other and will continue to build the local church together. Thank you for your support and participation in the life of the church in 2023. With confidence we say that in the church there is an excitement to volunteer, and many of you sincerely and sacrificially serve the Lord and each other.

We are especially thankful, that you friends, are in one spirit with the church board (elders and deacons) voted and confirmed Daniel Muzychenko for the eldership ministry in the our church! This is a further evidence that the leadership of the church and the church as a whole have the same vision and the same understanding of the principles of Scripture in organization of the church. Praise the Lord!

From a biblical perspective, what happened is perfectly illustrated by the following text:

“And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ…” (Eph. 4:11-12)

It is God who provides shepherds, as He gives spiritual gifts and abilities for ministry, and the church only recognizes and confirms this fact.

Many of you came up and said that you are praying for the leaders in the church. We sincerely thank you for your support. Continue to pray for the development of the elders’ board both, qualitatively and quantitatively.

1 The heavens declare the glory of God,
    and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
² Day to day pours out speech,
    and night to night reveals knowledge.
³ There is no speech, nor are there words,
    whose voice is not heard.
⁴ Their voice goes out through all the earth,
    and their words to the end of the world.

the testimony of the Lord is sure,

⁸ the precepts of the Lord are right,
    rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the Lord is pure,
    enlightening the eyes;
⁹ the fear of the Lord is clean,
    enduring forever;
the rules of the Lord are true,
    and righteous altogether.

• Thursday (6:30 PM) – Kid’s Bible School (open to all but required for parents), followed by Bible Study (Proverbs) for the whole church at 7:30 PM
