The Art of Communicating Love in the Family

The family is God’s design. This is why proper and biblical relations between a husband and wife visibly point to the relationship of Christ and the Church. For these relationships to correctly depict the spiritual reality, we must constantly check them and make adjustments. Not only is this applicable to the relations between a husband and wife, but parents and their children also need constant improvements. These adjustments often happen through simple reminders of already-known truths. This was the goal of the recent seminar about how to communicate love in the family.

If you were unable to attend this seminar, we strongly encourage you to watch the video recordings. Note however that these recordings are only in Russian.

Scripture To Memorize

And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,

10 so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

11 being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy;

12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

13 He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son,

14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.

16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.

17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

18 And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.

19 For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell,

Colossians 1:9-19
