“Here I am! Send me”
Speaking about the missions and calling of people into ministry, we will sooner or later come to the sixth chapter of Isaiah and the phrase, “Here I am! Send me.” How many sermons have we heard on this chapter of the Scriptures?! How many important lessons have been drawn from this beautiful and powerful part of the Bible! And yet, sometimes we come across a sermon on this well-known text and we simple marvel once again at the beauty, wisdom, and greatness that is hidden in the text. This is exactly what happened to me while listening to a unique sermon delivered this year at the Shepherds Conference. The preacher, H.B. Charles, so simply, clearly, and convincingly communicated the meaning of this chapter, that there is no need to say anything more about this sermon, but simply to strongly urge you to listen to it and extract important lessons for yourselves. May God grant grace and humility to you to receive much blessings from listening!

A New Song
The crucifixion was a monumental moment in history. The Father poured out his righteous wrath on the Son, but not for his sin—our sin. This was God’s love powerfully displayed (John 3:16). As you have noticed, we have been studying the crucifixion in a series of sermons through Luke 23, and in order to equip us with words to express our appreciation and to better feel the weight of that moment, we will be learning a new song this upcoming Sunday, “How Deep the Father’s Love for Us.” This song feels like it comes from an era before ours, but in fact, it was written by Stuart Townend in 1995. I’m sure you’ll enjoy this song and it will be able to bless you for many years ahead.
Prayer Request
Brothers and sisters, brother Mani is coming to Sacramento on March 19th. We are planning a Nauruz (Persian New Year) celebration on March 21st at 7pm. Afghan Pastor Mike from Fremont will be there as well and several Afghan families are invited. Please pray that God will bring those people who should be there and stop those who should not. Pray for the Holy Spirit to move in the hearts of all the guests and for protection from all evil.
Scripture To Memorize
1 In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him stood the seraphim. Each had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. 3 And one called to another and said:
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts;
the whole earth is full of his glory!”
Isaiah 6:1-3
