A Little About Past Events

This past Saturday God gifted our church a wonderful time of fellowship at the park. Praise God and thank you to everyone who labored to make this celebration possible. It was pleasant to witness people from both morning services worshipping God together. Once more, congratulations to the team of high schoolers who won the soccer tournament! You can see a photo from the picnic further below.

Now, from Sunday evening through Tuesday, the elder board was together at a prayer retreat. The brothers drive out twice a year to spend time specifically in God’s Word and in prayer for the church. This time we read through the first 3 chapters of Revelation and prayed for all the church members by name. The photo is below.

Scripture To Memorize

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation;

19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.

2 Corinthians 5:17-19
