Weekly Newsletter 09/15/2022
Greetings dear church!
God is good! He answers prayers. He takes care of our needs daily. He gives both physical and spiritual strength to obey His will and fulfill our purpose here on this earth. And our greatest task is to praise God, build up the church, and preach the Gospel to everyone around. In this case, the goal of the church is to equip the saints for this work. Consider the church services as a tool, not an end goal in and of themselves.
“…to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” (Eph. 4:12-13)
Because of this, we encourage you to participate in the events that occur in the church. We are glad that you attend Sunday services, participate in home groups, help in various ministries by serving one another, evangelize to the people around you, and pray for each other and the church…
This upcoming Sunday begins a class for new church members at 10:30am in the youth room (above Coffee Corner). If you would like to refresh your understanding of the church and its guiding principles, what we believe, or even join the local church, then we invite you to this meeting. If you have not yet made a decision regarding the church, or if you know someone for whom it would be useful to learn about the structure of the church, then please come and invite your friends.
Beloved, we are strongly encouraging you to join the seminar on family and marriage.

There’s another ministry that I’d like to remind us all about – the ministry of help. Beloved, some members of the church are sick, have health problems, or are giving birth to children. In those moments we can become a special blessing for them if we are able to show them attention and care. Let us be attentive to each other, and if you hear that someone has gotten sick, hasn’t been to church or the home group, please express your interest and show necessary care. Perhaps a simple present, prepared meal, card, phone call, special attention, or a short visit to pray can be the best medicine.

Scripture To Memorize
17 Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls,
18 yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation.
18 yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation.
