Peace to you!

When recently talking to a couple, we touched on a simple yet important principle: family and marriage require constant replenishment and attention, and if this doesn’t occur, as so common in the world, then the family will be going downhill, falling apart, and fading away. Special attention is required for the relationship between parents and children. Someone said that the most valuable thing a parent can give their child is time! Martin Luther once said, “Let the wife make the husband glad to come home, and let him make her sorry to see him leave.”

Beloved, there are many signs in this world that marriage and family are not just being neglected but are actively being eradicated out of modern society. We do not have the right to stand by the wayside and quietly observe how God’s design for the family is being trampled on. Of course, we cannot change society; only the Gospel can do this. But, we can and must pay attention to our families and the relationship between the husband and wife and parents and children. Strong relationships in Christian families are a powerful tool for the preaching of the Gospel (Eph. 5:31-31).

Because of this, we earnestly ask that you register for the upcoming conference/seminar on family and marriage. We have invited brother Andrey Rezunenko to lead 4 sessions (plus a Q&A) in the second half of September. Please click on the link below for more details and to register. This conference is open to all so it is a good opportunity to invite your friends (believers and non-believers).

Scripture To Memorize

Psalm 15 (to solidify)

1 O Lord, who shall sojourn in your tent?
    Who shall dwell on your holy hill?
He who walks blamelessly and does what is right
    and speaks truth in his heart;
who does not slander with his tongue
    and does no evil to his neighbor,
    nor takes up a reproach against his friend;
in whose eyes a vile person is despised,
    but who honors those who fear the Lord;
who swears to his own hurt and does not change;
who does not put out his money at interest
    and does not take a bribe against the innocent.
He who does these things shall never be moved.
