Weekly Newsletter 06/09/2022

Greetings, dear church!

Firstly, on behalf of the whole church I want to thank many who served us the past weekend! Both at the picnic and during the services on Sunday, many faithfully and sacrificially served both the church members and guests. God has abundantly blessed us with guests and it is a great privilege for us to serve them and show them the Gospel in action. Many heard the message about the Savior. Many were encouraged in their faith. Praise God!

Secondly, we want to encourage you to pray more intensely for the upcoming VBS. A big team has been preparing for many weeks for this important day camp for kids. We are expecting many kids that do not attend church, and it is another opportunity to serve these families. Pray for the physical and spiritual strength of all those who will be serving during these days.

Thirdly, as mentioned at the picnic, we received a unique gift in the form of new church members who have become part of our small but friendly family. Please pay special attention to these people, get to know them, and invite them to your home. You can find their names and photos below.

Scripture To Memorize

The Scripture memory text – Philippians 2:5-11

Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,
who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped,
but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.
And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name,
10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
