A Unique Opportunity to Serve
Dear Church, we are experiencing God’s special blessings through our growing families. God has blessed us with many children in the church, and it seems these blessings continue to multiply! God will take care of all the growing families, and He has proven this many times over. But in some aspects of this care, God also uses us, the Church! One place where we can uniquely participate is by helping the families with the newborns. The most practical thing we can do for such families is to pray for the mothers and newborn babies, and… help with preparing meals for these families. During the time right after childbirth, everything in the family is shifted: the daily routine, the schedule of all other responsibilities, and therefore, often preparing food is neglected or it is a struggle. And this is exactly where we can help! Yes, we can rely on relatives and friends for that, but still, we believe that the Church should not stand aside from such families. If we are the first to respond to such needs, we set a good example and a signal to the surrounding world – in the Church love reigns!
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13: 34-35)
“Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.” (Rom. 12:13)
“For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do.” (Heb. 6:10)
Sisters, you have Viber chats where you can find more information about the families with the newborn children, and how you can become part of this ministry.
