Rejoice!
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” (Is. 9:6)
Dear church, every one of us has personally experienced the joy of salvation, forgiveness, and adoption by God into His family. Every time we consider the miracle of being born again, we ought to remember that there are many who don’t know the truth about the Savior who was born. This Sunday at our Christmas Concert we have a unique opportunity to share this good news with the people around us by way of an evangelical sermon and music. At the end of this letter you will find the invitation that you can share with others electronically, in case you haven’t yet been able to do so with the printed version.
Please pray so that through this service God would be glorified and the gospel of grace would be clearly shared.
This week at our church Bible Study we are beginning a new book, Proverbs. This book, even though it was written 3,000 years ago, has very specific and practical advice for the modern person. Join us in studying this book at 7:30 PM.

Scripture To Memorize
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.”
