The King of Christmas (Matt. 1)
Χριστός (Christos), or מָשִׁיחַ (Mashiach).
I. The Humble King who accepts us
A. He is accessible (Matt. 1:1-6, 17-20)
B. He is meek (Luke 2:6-7)
C. He serves and dies (Mark 10:45)
II. The Glorious King who transform us
III. The Sovereign King who rules over us
1) So that many may come to the Humble King.
2) So that the Glorious King may grant living faith, a desire to live for God, unity, and confidence in His love.
3) So that we would not fear the Sovereign King but worship Him from the heart.
