Greetings to you, dear brothers and sisters!
I, Nikolai Levanchuk, live and labor—by the mercy of God—in Ukraine, in the city of Voznesensk. My ministry takes place both in Voznesensk itself and in the surrounding villages where daughter churches already exist and where new ones are being formed.
The village of Trykraty (Voznesensk district) — A new church was established there 2 years ago. At this point, there are 9 church members; up to 15 unbelievers come to the services. A Sunday school and a teen club for 30 children and teenagers have been organized. For adults, a Bible study is held on Fridays. The children gather on Saturdays for the teen club.
The village of Voronivka (Voznesensk district) — A church was formed there 4 years ago. There are 8 church members, and up to 10 people attend irregularly. A Bible study is held, there is a Sunday school, a youth group meets, and a women’s group gathers for training.
Similar churches also exist in the villages of Aktove and Maryanivka (Voznesensk district), but in those places our deacons are assigned and carry the ministry. However, in Trykraty and Voronivka there are no appointed leaders, so I am often there teaching, mentoring, and evangelizing. I also visit the churches in the villages of Vozsyatske, Bratske, Sokolivka, and Dmytrivka. We conducted evangelistic outreaches in the village of Yastrebynove—people came, and the seed of truth was sown. By God’s mercy, children’s camps were held this year in all these villages except Dmytrivka.
A great deal of time is required to teach and establish these people in the faith, especially because many of them came from the world and still hold worldly views on life. At present, life in rural areas is materially difficult due to the war and the lack of work. Another difficulty in ministry is that some of the brothers from our church, due to mobilization, have limited ability to travel and cannot go to the villages.
Therefore, I ask you to pray for the people in these villages—especially for those who have repented and become church members—that the Lord would strengthen them in the truth. Also pray for those who have repented but have not yet decided to enter into covenant with the Lord and receive water baptism.
